Community water supply interventions linked to a documented reduction in water-borne disease
WADDAN has implemented community water supply interventions including water bores, hand pumps, rehabilitation of community water supply systems, storage tanks, and distribution networks, supported by community water management committees.
These interventions have improved access to safe drinking water and contributed to a documented reduction in water-borne diseases across different valleys of Malakand Division.
Sanitation blocks, community toilets, drainage and water supply rehabilitation, and handwashing facilities within BHUs and schools.
In partnership with CARAVAN and Terre des Hommes (TDH): hygiene awareness campaigns, handwashing drives, menstrual hygiene sessions, community sanitation campaigns, and school hygiene education.
